Precise processing tasks not only make high demands on the machine tool, but also on a foundation possibly necessary which is to reduce or minimize the machine vibrations which occur. Thus a vibration-optimized design is of high importance. This is principally achieved by a foundation, highly tuned in terms of frequency, and an actuated connection to the machine.
The basis of our concept is the dynamic regularity in which vibrations always flow off in the direction of the most rigid component. By means of the spring rates, the mass and the frequency of the foundation is tuned in such a way that it becomes a component - the most rigid - of the
machine.
