For Tough Cuts
At SSAB in Oxelösund , Sweden a cold-circular saw type KKS 1000L has been installed for sawing of test specimens from the high-strength quality steel.
The sawing machine has been integrated in an existing system with marking tools for the test specimens and an feeding device which allowed for automatisation of the whole working process.

Redesigned torch cutting maschines for slab cutting
Framag's redesigned torch cutting machines allow for higher cutting speeds and shorter non-cutting times which result in a sustainable reduction in the slab cutting cycle time. This technolgoy allows is more favourable for short-slab productin and high casting speeds. The first machines have already been installed and proven their performance under rough production conditions.
